The landscape was tossed around and upended then rested for fifty million years.  The ammonite lay peacefully in their sleep until finally their chance came for a new purpose.  They were carefully collected and preserved by the many prospectors and this one specific artist who fell in love with the history and beauty of Alberta and took a snapshot in time on a canvas where the ammonite’s beauty can dance on ice.
