By agreeing to our Terms of Service, you are also agreeing to our Exchange Policy and Shipping Policy.  As a buyer, you are fully responsible for thoroughly reading and understanding our listing descriptions and shop policies.  By ordering from Ammolite Canada Inc., you are agreeing to comply with all of our shop policies.  


Payment Options

Ammolite Canada Inc. accepts payment for your purchase of our products with a valid MasterCard and Visa credit cards. Items are payable through the Checkout section.  Orders will only be processed and shipped after confirmation of payment. 


Discounts

Occasionally, we will put select items of ammolite on promotion. You may purchase items by using a promo or discount code. Only one discount code may be used per order. Discount codes cannot be applied to any items that are already discounted.  All ammolite product orders over $100.00 CDN will be offered free shipping within Canada and the continental U.S.A. This promotion may be used in conjunction with a discount code, however the $100 CDN threshold must be met after the discount is applied. 


Product Size and Appearance

Ammolite Canada Inc. will photograph an accurate photo of all of its items.  We do not enhance the colour saturation and we do not use Photoshop methods to enhance the product.  Our top priority is to ensure that our customers receive what they are expecting.  Colours may appear slightly different on screen depending on the monitor settings you have on your device.  We take several different shots from different angles to demonstrate the spectro chromatic shift that naturally occurs with ammolite products. These additional images are located under the main image on the product description page.  Please feel free to click on them to display and enlarge, if you so choose.  All of our listings include dimensions which you may use to gauge the most accurate size of the product.  It is important to always read the listing descriptions to get the most accurate information about the product and its size.  The written sizes are close approximations and there may be small discrepancies. 


Imperfections

Please note that the products that Ammolite Canada Inc. carries are natural, one-of-a-kind products. As they are fossilized gemstones, they may have small imperfections and features that are natural in their state. Every piece of ammolite has a unique quality of its own.  Some may have a dark line (inclusion) running through the piece. These lines are natural occurrences and do not alter the stability of the product. We select only the best pieces for our website and do a thorough quality control check prior to shipping.  


Custom Orders – Cherisse Mia’s Designs and Art Works

We can accommodate custom orders via email. These orders can only be processed through our website after we have been contacted by you through email as to your destination and the size and weight of the piece.  These custom orders include the amazing works of Cherisse Mia Designs. These pieces are extremely delicate due to the gemstones, crystals, geodes and fossils within the pieces and therefore have to be prepared for shipping in a very different manner to our other products.  Shipping charges will depend on your location and the weight of the fully wrapped piece.  Please contact us by email for further information.


Unpacking your Product

Please use caution and care when opening your shipping package. Some items are small or fragile so we recommend unpacking on a flat, clean surface. All orders are sent with an invoice. Please ensure that all the products on the invoice are accounted for in your package, before disposing of your shipping materials. We double-check orders carefully before sealing the package, so it is extremely unlikely that an item would be missing from your order.  


Shipping Policy

Any item(s) that have been purchased between Monday to Friday will be shipped within 48 hours from confirmation of payment.  Items purchased after 3 p.m. on Friday and during the weekend will be processed and shipped on Monday.  

We may, in some cases require additional information or corrections to your invoice. Shipping may be delayed until we have been able to communicate with you and rectify the situation. We use Canada Post services, which ships worldwide and the parcel we send is always tracked. You will receive an email with a shipping notification, tracking number and approximate delivery date.  Please keep in mind that if you are outside of Canada, delays may occur with the importing country with Customs Regulations and Requirements.  It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the importing requirements in your country have been met.  As you are the purchaser, you are responsible for paying customs taxes, fees or charges that may be levied by your country. If a purchaser refuses the package, for any reason, a refund will not be issued. We rely on Canada Post to deliver in a speedy and efficient manner, not only within Canada, but worldwide. Some deliveries may become subject to unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control, such as weather conditions.  If you wish to purchase an item and require it as soon as possible, please email us prior to purchasing, and we will try to accommodate you as best we can.  There may be an express shipping charge levied at that time. If at any time we receive a package that is returned to us due to an incomplete address and is marked “Undeliverable” we will try to contact you. We will not resend the package without verification from the purchaser. “Undeliverable” items are not eligible for cancellations, refunds, or exchanges. If it was an error by the purchaser, the purchaser must pay the shipping charges.


Exchange Policy

We try to process and ship all products within 48 hours of confirmation of payment.  Once we have shipped your order, we cannot rescind, cancel or change the delivery address of the order. Once we have shipped the product and given the tracking number to Squarespace to fulfil the order, the shipping costs will not be refunded.  

We understand that you may change your mind and wish to exchange a product. We do not offer refunds, but we will offer a “Store Credit” so that you may purchase a product of equal or higher value at a later date, using the Store Credit  As we cannot ensure the hygienic conditions or practices conducive to maintaining health and preventing disease, especially through cleanliness, we are unable to exchange earrings. The exchange policy is valid for 30 days after you have received your product. Shipping costs for exchanging products will be at the purchaser’s expense.  

In cases of severe damage during the shipping process, we will accept exchanges or provide a store credit for the original price to replace the damaged item. You must contact us within 14 days after receipt of the product. You will be required to email us with a photo of the damaged packaging after which we will supply you with a return address.  After we have received the package, we will issue a store credit or offer an exchange. We will not accept any exchanges after the 14-day period.
